Celebrating Accedia’s Story: 13 Years of Exceeding Expectations

On 15th October 2025, we marked a special milestone - 13 years since Accedia was founded by four visionaries: Nikolay Mutafov, Plamen Koychev, Dimitar Dimitrov, and Nikolay Todorov. What began as a small team of dreamers has grown into a team of over 250 doers, united by a shared purpose and drive.

As is tradition, we threw a big birthday party, where colleagues, partners, and friends gathered at our rooftop bar. The night was filled with energy, laughter, and gratitude – a reflection of the vibrant community that defines Accedia. We enjoyed live music by a popular Bulgarian band, plenty networking moments, and, of course, a festive birthday cake to mark the occasion.

How We’ve Grown Throughout the Years

Over these 13 years, we’ve expanded our work across more than 20 countries, delivering cutting-edge solutions and building lasting partnerships. Our commitment to excellence and continuous innovation has been recognized internationally, including The Global Outsourcing 100 list for three consecutive times, multiple International Stevie Awards, as well as being featured in the Financial Times Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions for both 2025 and 2026.

Behind every milestone stands our team of talented professionals, whose dedication has made it all possible. Together, we’ve kept learning and growing - earning thousands of certifications, joining hackathons and marathons, and marking 10 years of our Inner Development Center (IDC), where ideas turn into real software solutions. In recent years, IDC has focused on AI-driven innovation, further encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.

Beyond technology, we are proud of the positive impact we create through ESG and community initiatives. From planting our own Accedia Forest to volunteering at animal shelters and joining national programs such as “Clean Bulgaria for One Day,” we remain committed to sustainability and giving back to our community.
