Accedia took part in the largest annual Oracle conference, OpenWorld. The event marked its 20th anniversary and was held September 18-22 in San Francisco. This year Oracle OpenWorld brought together 60 000 attendees from 141 countries and offered more than 2000 sessions moderated by top Oracle executives, customers and partners.
“Over the years, Oracle OpenWorld has become a showcase for leading Cloud technologies, from Cloud Applications to Cloud Platform and Infrastructure”, said Oracle’s CTO and Executive Chairman of the Board Larry Ellison in his opening keynote. OpenWorld was also the stage where the new array of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings was announced. The enhanced portfolio will help organizations address the challenges of public cloud by harnessing its benefits while retaining those provided by a corporate data center.
