Last weekend, we traveled to Frankfurt to be part of the BG Careers Fair for a second consecutive year. The success the previous event earned only motivated us to go back to answer questions and share information that could help Bulgarian students abroad map out their career future in Bulgaria. We were content to discover the awareness we awaken and see more and more faces who were interested to embark on a career journey within our company. This inevitably led to deeper conversations and provoked discussions of other indirect topics, such as the outsourcing industry, culture differences at work and more. In addition to our presentation, this year we shared the news of our recently launched Recommend a Friend initiative which aims to stimulate recommendations for the open positions at Accedia and offers reward to everyone who helps us attract talent.
Since the beginning of the year, Accedia also took part in a few other career events and have undertaken further initiatives in view of chasing ambition and spotting potential that fits the company environment. Starting with the National Careers Day where we introduced Accedia to over a hundred of inquisitive individuals, to presenting the company at educational organizations like IT Talents and sharing career path and development opportunities in the company. During the events, we made sure to familiarize the attendees with the sector itself and revealed some of the biggest challenges our business faces on a daily basis.
Spotting potential and desire for a successful career future in Bulgaria is what inspire us to keep looking for ways to encourage interactions and provide better job opportunities.
