Last weekend, we held our third themed Hackathon and have once again set the bar higher for future tech initiatives at the company. With “Fun Software” being the main topic, the coding competition kickstarted on Friday evening and carried through Monday morning when the participants demonstrated their software in the presence of the entire company.
We had the pleasure to see three fun ideas turning into mobile apps and voted for selecting the winner. From sharing your ride to work and back or locating someone in the office, to interactive game with fun facts about the team, all three teams implemented their ideas using latest technology frameworks and smart gadgets. Though everyone did an outstanding job, one team has been announced the ‘audience favorite’ and was handed a reward by our CEO, Nikolay Mutafov.
Bringing some of the brightest minds together and inspiring innovation, the Hackathon was a fun arena where knowledge-sharing and competitiveness went hand in hand. Motivated by the success of this internal coding contest, we have already mapped out ideas for the next one and are certain there will be many more to follow.
