QA Manager


  • Defines QA strategy, approach and execution in development projects  
  • Leads and directs the QA team  
  • Analyses business requirements to determine necessary testing  
  • Negotiates acceptance criteria on behalf of the business  
  • Coaches the team to empower them to meet their goals  
  • Designs training programs and workshops to keep the knowledge of the team up to date with current tools and technologies  
  •  Estimates personnel requirements and time for project activities and assigns personnel 
  • Uses project management tools for effective utilization, to track and report progress, and to ensure compliance with project implementation schedules  
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks to drive quality throughout the organization  
  • Facilitates performance management and career development  
  • Continuously analyses current QA processes and practices and suggests improvements  
  • Coordinates bug fixes and software enhancements with development teams  


  • At least 5 years of related work experience, minimum 2 years of people management experience  
  • Proficiency in software test management and reporting tools and frameworks  
  • Solid knowledge in testing methodologies and experience in test automation  
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing environments like new projects and clients  
  • Experience working with agile methodologies  
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills  
  • Ability to prioritize and balance between various tasks and projects  
  • Great attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills  
  • Proficient written and verbal English language skills  

The following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:  

  • ISTQB Advanced or Expert level certificate
