Zurich hosted the exclusive edition of the SMARTSOURCING+ Forum, organized by the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association and its members, in partnership with leading industry organizations such as the German Outsourcing Association and the Global Sourcing Association, as well as prominent advisories such as Everest Group.
The one-day event gathered sourcing experts and practitioners together with Swiss business representatives at one of Zurich’s premium event venues. It turned out to be a major success in raising awareness for the benefits of a trust-based partner relationship and answering lots of real-life questions that the local companies were facing.
The forum took off with talks on value creation, differentiation, upskilling and location-based advantages referring to Bulgaria. Following were the panels on customer experience and digital transformation where the IT & BPO companies spoke about challenges and best practices for transitioning to a smartsourcing relationship. The afternoon was marked by a livery success stories panel where Swiss companies shared their experience in working with partners for delivering high-skilled services, as well as a networking session where attendees could exchange knowledge and discuss to-the-point matters.
Accedia was represented at the ITO expertise panel by one of our managing partners, Dimitar Dimitrov. He stressed on the importance of developing talent and being extremely flexible as key for maximizing the mutual gains in a sourcing partnership. As a whole, the forum was perceived as quite valuable from the local audience, which is sure to strengthen its knowledge and interrelationships within the sector.
